Did you meet the people you were campaigning for? Did you know Yates?
I saw him at meetings. He wasn't a family friend or anything. The adults knew him. I just remember how he looked, not anything he said.
I did know my father, of course, and most of the candidates who ran for the Freedom Now Party. I knew some of the others because they were either members of our church or we went to lots of meetings my sister and I got introduced as "This is my daughter". I knew Ken Cockerel because we were students at Wayne State at the same time.
