Happy Late Blogaversary to Finding Eliza!

cake

I can’t believe I missed my own blogiversary! On May 24 I forgot to celebrate my 4th year of blogging.  Somehow it seems like I’ve been doing them for longer than 4 years.  I have published 704 posts during that time. What did I do with my time before that?  It is really hard to remember. I never even had read a blog before I started mine. I found a whole alternate reality into which I have been fully absorbed.

  1. “Happy 4th Blogiversary”!!!!! What we wouldn’t do without YOU and Finding Eliza?

  2. Belated Happy Blogiversary Kristin! I have so enjoyed reading your blog. You inspire me every day with your story telling. Here’s to many more years of great blogging. Congrats!

  3. Congratulations! And I for one, am soooo glad you started blogging! We wouldn’t know half of what we know without it! 🙂

    1. And thank you for finding so much stuff that I would never have had if you hadn’t! Now on to Anna’s photos… 🙂

  4. Happy Blogiversary! I’m so glad that you decided to start blogging. I’ve enjoyed getting to know you via our blogs. I’ve particularly enjoyed how you’ve set some family stories into the context of the civil rights movement and US history. I’ve learned a lot. . .and thought more deeply about many important topics as a result of this blog.

  5. Congratulations, Kristin – how time flies when you are happy blogging! I look forward to reading more posts.

  6. Hi Kristen,

I just wanted to let you know that I nominated you for the Liebster Blog Award. It was fun filling it out myself. I love the history behind the blog award and would like to pass it on to my favorite blogs! If you are interested in accepting, just go to my blog site. Thanks again!

    1. Sue, thanks for nominating me for an award. Back a few years ago there was flurry of award giving that finally reached a crescendo as people tried in vain to find blogs who hadn’t received an award so they could pass them on. Soon after that, I decided to become an award free blog. While I appreciate people wanting to pass one to me, fulfilling the requirements take more time than I have to give. I’m already on here way to much writing posts, responding and visiting other blogs.
