Lillian Louise Reed Shoemaker – my grandmother Pearl Reed Cleage’s older sister. A gift from a new found cousin, before and after I photoshoped it.

Isn't it wonderful when someone shares their photos with you? Well done on your "fixing up" 🙂 Jo
Yes, sharing photos with new cousins is one of my favorite parts of being found! and thank you, i love fixing up old family photos!
Brilliant work, Kristin. I am in awe.
Thank you Susan. i feel like i get to know the people i am working on because of the time spent with them. and sometimes i think they are helping me.
Kristin,
Very nice photo, and a great restoration job. I need to learn that technique.
I didn't have any young photo of Louise before so I was really happy to receive this one.
Sandra, I don't know how close you are to the Southwest Art Center but they offer basic photoshop classes. They have evening and saturday classes. There won't be any classes over the summer but they will have more in the fall. Southwest Arts Center 915 New Hope Road Atlanta, GA 30331 404.613.3220 After you learn the basics it's a matter of practicing and experimenting until you get what you want.
Wow, you did a great job!

That is a beautiful restoration of a beautiful woman. Such loving work.
Thank you Angella.
You are terrific with Photoshop, and Photoshop is NOT an easy tool! Look at this picture…wow. I also like the collage of your family in the post above.
