Pedestrians, streetcars and delivery wagons crowd the intersection. Readable Business and advertising signs on the north side of Washington Street include: J. M. REED JEWELER (38 West Washington Street); COCA COLA; LITTLE MINISTER; THE HANOVER SHOE; TAYLOR CARPET CO. (26-28 West Washington Street); HUDER DRUGS (22 West Washington Street); WASSON’S (H. P. Wasson & Co., 6-20 West Washington Street); and BADGER FURNITURE CO. (14-20 East Washington Street). FERGER’S DRUG STORE sits at the southeast corner of this intersection.
